BYD Cars Philippines is bringing its biggest Tech Tour yet to Trinoma, following the official launch of the all-new BYD Atto 2 EV, BYD Atto 2 DM-i, and the new BYD Seal 5 DM-i. From July 29 to August 2, visitors can explore the latest additions to the BYD lineup, compare electrified models up close, enjoy interactive activities, and take test drives all in one venue.
BYD Opens Its Biggest Trinoma Showcase with Three New Launches
BYD is heading to Trinoma Activity Center for a two-part showcase that gives visitors a first look at the brand’s newest models, followed by several days of test drives, tech activities, and hands-on discovery.
Last night, BYD officially unveiled the all-new Atto 2 EV, Atto 2 DM-i, and the new Seal 5 DM-i at the Trinoma Activity Center, with Alden Richards joining the event as special guest.
Today, the experience continues with the BYD Tech Tour at Trinoma, running from July 29 to August 2, 2026. Visitors can drop by Wednesday to Friday from 10 AM to 9 PM, and Saturday to Sunday from 10 AM to 10 PM.
This is the perfect chance to see the newly launched models right after their official reveal, then explore more of the BYD lineup in one convenient venue.
Three New Models Take the Spotlight
The launch event puts the focus on three new additions to the BYD range, each offering a different way to experience electrified driving.
The all-new BYD Atto 2 EV introduces a compact all-electric option designed around everyday city driving. With a driving range of up to 380 kilometers, it gives drivers enough flexibility for daily commutes, errands, and weekend trips around the metro, all in a package that feels manageable in traffic and tight parking spaces.
The all-new BYD Atto 2 DM-i brings BYD’s Super DM-i technology into a compact SUV format. With a combined driving range of more than 1,300 kilometers, fuel efficiency of 28.78 km/L, and an estimated running cost of just ₱2.83 per kilometer, it gives drivers the flexibility to handle busy weeks and longer journeys with fewer stops while remaining practical for everyday city use.
The new BYD Seal 5 DM-i gives sedan buyers a more advanced take on a familiar favorite. Sleek, efficient, and powered by BYD’s latest 5th Generation Super DM-i technology, it builds on the qualities drivers appreciated in the previous model with meaningful updates to comfort, technology, and long-range capability. During a recent efficiency run conducted with the Automobile Association Philippines, the new Seal 5 DM-i covered 2,181 kilometers on a single full tank and full charge, while achieving 32.71 km/L and an estimated fuel cost of just ₱2.48 per kilometer.
The Tech Tour Continues the Experience
After the launch event, visitors can spend more time with the newly unveiled models, with the rest of the BYD lineup joining the Tech Tour starting July 31 for an even broader showcase at Trinoma.
Alongside the newly launched all-new Atto 2 and new Seal 5 DM-i, the Trinoma Tech Tour will also feature the eMAX 9 DM-i, Tang DM-i, Sealion 6 DM-i, Shark 6 DMO, and eMAX 7.
The BYD eMAX 9 DM-i brings a more premium people-moving experience to the display. With its spacious cabin, refined seating for seven, and comfort-focused layout, it’s designed for families, executives, and passengers who want every trip to feel more relaxed.
The BYD Tang DM-i adds a strong seven-seater SUV option to the lineup. It offers the space families need, the presence expected from a mid-size SUV, and the smooth response of BYD’s Super DM-i technology for daily drives and longer journeys.
The BYD Sealion 6 DM-i continues to stand out as a well-rounded SUV for everyday use. It feels practical for city driving, comfortable for family travel, and flexible enough for those who want one vehicle that can handle different routines throughout the week.
The BYD Shark 6 DMO brings a different kind of presence to the Tech Tour. As BYD’s electrified pickup, it combines bold styling, everyday usability, and Super DMO technology in a package built for work, weekend plans, and drivers who want something with more utility.
The BYD eMAX 7 gives visitors a fully electric six or seven-seater option built around space, quietness, and family comfort. It’s designed for those who need room for more passengers, but can also appreciate how a full EV can benefit regular family life.
Test Drives, Tech Quest, and Refreshments
The Trinoma Tech Tour is designed to give visitors more than a walkaround. The full BYD lineup will be available for test drives, allowing guests to experience different models on the road, compare how they feel behind the wheel, and find the vehicle that best suits their needs. BYD specialists will also be on hand to answer questions about the technology, charging, ownership, and everyday use.
BYD Tech Quest also returns, giving guests a more interactive way to learn about the technology behind the vehicles. More BYD merchandise will also be available throughout the event.
